ERASMUS SAVELIFE PROJECT

About Erasmus SaveLife Project: Reorganizing Basic/Advanced Life Support Training Through the Use of Innovative Digital Materials

 The Faculty of Mechanical Engineering-Skopje, together with the Faculty of Medicine-Skopje, at the Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje, were partners in the European Erasmus+ project SaveLife. In this regard:

  • The Faculty of Mechanical Engineering participated in the design of the e-learning platform and the design of the educational materials for courses and videos.
  • The Faculty of Medicine participated in the structuring of the educational materials, the trainings for the users of the e-platform and is a further beneficiary of the project results.

 The SaveLife (https://savelife.yildiz.edu.tr) project, funded by the European Union within the Erasmus+ KA220 program, aimed to provide medical staff up-to-date, open, free access to B/ALS trainings that can function as booster trainings or complementary to in situ trainings when deemed necessary by the trainers. The main objectives of the SaveLife Project are to research best practices in online education for B/ALS trainings and to develop a comprehensive course plan that includes learning materials, mainly interactive videos and an e-book. The project brought together eight partner institutions from six countries: Yildiz Technical University (Türkiye), University of Health Sciences (Türkiye), Medical University Sofia (Bulgaria), Panepistimio Thessalias (Greece), Bukovinian State Medical University (Ukraine), Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje (North Macedonia), Politechnika Slaska (Poland), and RQ Consultancy Ltd. Co. (Türkiye).

 Overall, the SaveLife Project:

  • Targeted university staff, medical students, nurses, paramedics, and general practitioners who practice or will practice in high-risk areas. By focusing on these target groups, the project aimed to make a significant and lasting impact on B/ALS trainings across Europe.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) training is received by medical students early in their studies, and this knowledge is further developed through Advanced Life Support (ALS) trainings. Basic and Advanced life support (B/ALS) is essential for physicians managing cardiac arrest.

The project enables an international and inter-disciplinary analysis of current CPR practices in partnering countries. The team benefits from global best practices to structure an innovative modular online course design, achieving sustainable development and readiness among healthcare professionals for Basic/Advanced Life Support (B/ALS). The activities and end-product unify emergency life support interventions by facilitating access to up-to-date B/ALS training and online content, created in collaboration with leading higher education institutions in the region.

ПРОЕКТ ERASMUS SAVELIFE

За проектот Erasmus SaveLife: Реорганизирање на основна/напредна обука за поддршка на животот преку употреба на иновативни дигитални материјали

Машинскиот факулет-Скопје, заедно со Медицинскиот факултет-Скопје, при Универзитетот „Св. Кирил и Методиј“ во Скопје, беа партнери на европскиот Еразмус+ проект SaveLife. Притоа:

  • Машинскиот факултет учествуваше во дизајнот на платформата за е-учење и дизајнот на едукативните материјали за курсеви и видеа.
  • Медицинскиот факултет учествуваше во структурирање на едукативните материјали, обуките за корисниците на е-платформата и е понатамошен корисник на резултатите од проектот.

Проектот SaveLife (https://savelife.yildiz.edu.tr), финансиран од Европската Унија во рамките на програмата Еразмус+ КА220, имаше за цел да обезбеди ажуриран, отворен, бесплатен пристап до обуките за B/ALS (основна и напредна поддршка за живот) на медицинскиот персонал, кои можат да функционираат како засилувачки обуки или комплементарни на in situ обуките, кога обучувачите сметаат дека е неопходно. Главните цели на проектот SaveLife се да се истражат најдобрите практики во онлајн образованието за обуки за B/ALS и да се развие сеопфатен план за курсеви кој вклучува материјали за учење, главно интерактивни видеа и е-книга. Проектот обедини осум партнерски институции од шест земји: Yildiz Техничкиот универзитет (Турција), Универзитетот за здравствени науки (Турција), Медицинскиот универзитет во Софија (Бугарија), Панепистимио Тесалијас (Грција), Буковинскиот државен медицински универзитет (Украина), Универзитетот Св. Кирил и Методиј“ во Скопје (Северна Македонија), Politechnika Slaska (Полска) и RQ Consultancy (Турција).

Севкупно, проектот SaveLife:

  • Ги таргетира универзитетскиот персонал, студентите по медицина, медицинските сестри, болничарите и општите лекари кои практикуваат или ќе практикуваат во области со висок ризик. Со фокусирање
  • Има за цел значително да влијае врз обуките за B/ALS низ Европа, преку обуката за основна животна поддршка (BLS), која ја добиваат студентите по медицина на почетокот на нивните студии, а понатаму, ова знаење дополнително се развива преку обуките за напредна поддршка во животот (ALS). Основна и напредна поддршка за живот (B/ALS) е од суштинско значење за лекарите кои управуваат со срцев удар.

Проектот овозможува меѓународна и интердисциплинарна анализа на тековните практики за CPR во земјите партнери. Притоа, тимот ги имаше во предвид глобалните најдобри практики за структурирање со иновативен дизајн на модуларни онлајн курсеви, постигнувајќи одржлив развој и подготвеност меѓу здравствените работници за основна/напредна поддршка за живот (B/ALS). Активностите на проектот и крајниот производ ги обединуваат интервенциите за итна поддршка во животот, преку олеснување на пристапот до ажурирана обука за B/ALS и онлајн содржина, создадени во соработка со водечките високообразовни институции во регионот.

Sehr geehrte Damen und Herren,

es freut mich, Sie auf die Stipendien des Freistaats Bayern für Deutsch-Sommerkurse an Hochschulen in Bayern im Jahr 2025 hinweisen zu können. Die Stipendien für die Präsenz-Kurse in Bayern beinhalten Kursgebühr, Unterkunft und Verpflegung.

Bewerben können sich Studierende sowie junge Forschende aller akademischen Disziplinen mit Deutsch-Vorkenntnissen auf mindestens B1-Niveau aus Albanien, Bosnien und Herzegowina, Kosovo, Kroatien, Montenegro, Nordmazedonien, Serbien, Slowenien und der Ukraine bei BAYHOST. Zum Bewerbungszeitpunkt müssen Studierende mindestens zwei komplette Semester an einer Hochschule im Heimatland verbracht haben und dies durch Noten belegen können. Die Staatsbürgerschaft eines der förderfähigen Länder muss vorliegen.

Bewerbungsschluss ist der 23. März 2025. Bewerbungen sind ausschließlich über unser Online-Formular einzureichen.

CfA: Scholarships for German language courses in Bavaria 2025

Dear Sir or Madam,

I am pleased to inform you about our new scholarshipoffers of the Free State of Bavaria for German language courses at Bavarian higher education institutions in 2025. The scholarships for on-site courses in Bavaria include tuition fees, accommodation, and meals.

Students and young academics of all disciplines with intermediate German proficiency (at least B1-level) from Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Kosovo, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia, Slovenia, and Ukraine can apply for BAYHOST summer course scholarships. At the time of application, students must have completed at least two entire semesters at an institute of higher education in their home country and provide corresponding grades. Applicants must have the citizenship of one of the eligible countries.

The application deadline is March 23, 2025.Applications must be submitted exclusively via our online form.

Further information on the application process and language courses can be found on the BAYHOST-website and under the BAYHOST facebook profile.
